World Gig Championships 2007

Ruth kicked off the 2007 sailing season with a trip to the Isles of Scilly to watch and support the World Gig Championships. Supporters from Mounts Bay, Charlestown and Boscastle clubs were aboard to cheer on their clubs. This is the second year that Ruth participated in the event and being moored on the finish line for the races gave everyone a great view. Ruth will again be taking passengers to the Gig Championships in 2008. Accommodation and food are included in the price of the trip as is a regular boat service to transport passengers from Ruth to the quayside. It is possible for groups of up to 9 people to hire the ship for private use, but get booked up early if you would like to arrange this. Hire of the ship from Friday to Monday costs £360 per person, including sailing, accomodation, bedding and food.
