Ruth goes wild!

There has been some great wildlife to be seen on the Ruth of late both in the sea and in the sky. Flying squadrons of Gannets dived on hapless shoals of fish off Anglesey and storm petrels and skuas skimmed the sea off Fishguard. Puffins were also spotted near Holyhead. A great trip for the twitchers aboard! Dolphins were to be found playing in the bow wave on several occasions which made for some good footage for the Cultural Cargo film. Nine Basking sharks were seen off Holyhead and more of the same and a lone sunfish were spotted sunning themselves off the Lizard in our home waters of Cornwall.
